Some good horror movies coming to Blu- Ray

Okay guys, some good old classic horror movies are coming to Blu Ray soon!

Maniac
Night of the Demons
The Exorcist
Evil Dead


These are gonna be some first day purchases for me!

do older classics really convert that well to blue ray?

Depending on how they were shot and how they do the transfer.
You will notice a small difference.
Nightmare on Elm Street (my canadian release) looks great in Blu.

However, Henry Portrait of a serial killer, the way it was shot, you can't tell a difference between the DVD or the Blu Ray, only the special features and interviews.

i'd rather watch henry in regular quality than watch alice in wonderland in blu-ray!

I am also getting Dawn of the Dead (original and remake) on Blu tomorrow.

Nightmare on Elm Street, Hellraiser, Army of Darkness all look amazing on Blu.

I'm hoping they will re-release A Nightmare On Elm Street on Blu-ray with special features when the new movie comes on blu-ray.

Its tough to say because they had a Canadian Nightmare on Elm release, then they came out with the US release.
If anything, I hope they come out with a box set in blu.
They already did 1-3 on Friday the 13th, but I don't know why they won't release the rest?
